Solution: The turbo unit itself is probably clogged with carbon, which leads to a blocked oil feeder pipe. Simply cleaning out the oil feeder pipe will tend to resolve the issue, but in rare cases, it will have become too damaged. Hybrid Member. 2.7k. Posted February 10, 2014 at 11:52 PM (edited) Ford has a new oil spec out for the 2014 C-Max as shown below. The spec for the 2013 C-Max is WSS-M2C945-A which is met by Motorcraft XO-5W20-QSP/QFS. The question: does the new spec supersede the old spec for the 2013s?
At 30,000 miles, replace the engine air filter, rotate and inspect tires, change the oil and oil filter when indicated on the vehicle message center, or every 12 months, whichever comes first.
